Dear Ralston neighbor,
Your local Volunteer Fire Company - the Ralston Engine Company #1 - needs your help in two important ways. First, consider becoming a Ralston firefighter and second, please support our annual fund drive. We are the first due response to your home on the western side of Mendham Township. We ask you to consider joining us in providing fire protection and rescue services to you and your neighbors. Our community’s time-honored tradition of volunteerism is a core as to why we love to live in Mendham Township – neighbor helping neighbor. As a member of your volunteer fire company, you will learn new skills and specialized training. You are provided with personal protective equipment (helmet, coat, pants, boots, etc.). You will meet new friends in the community and experience the rewards of helping your community and neighbors in their time of need.
The enclosed annual fund drive request is our only request for your financial support. If you have contributed in the past we thank you for your generosity. If this is your first opportunity to support us, we thank you for your assistance. Your Township tax dollars pay only a portion of our operational expenses, and this fundraising effort supplements the many aspects of running a community Volunteer Fire Company.
We welcome you to visit our website www.ralstonengine.org and learn more about the operations of your local Volunteer Fire Company. Our website contains fire safety information, property insurance information, opportunities to volunteer in the operations of the fire company, an insight into the activities and emergency responses of your local fire company and our rich history of serving our community. Additional contacts: non-emergency number 973- 543-4763 or [email protected]. In service to you,
The Officers and Members of Ralston Engine Company #1 The Ralston Engine Company #1 is a nonprofit 501C(3) organization.
The IRS requires we inform you no goods or services have been received in exchange for your donation. The full amount of your contribution is deductible to the extent allowed by law.
